Sodexo Operations LLC Registered Dietitian 1 in AUGUSTA, Georgia
Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to work as a Regional Operations Support Dietitian in Augusta, Georgia, providing clinical support throughout an assigned region.
Must be willing to travel and be computer savvy, willing to work as an interim Dietitian, Patient Services or Clinical Nutrition Manager for short periods of time supporting the South East region.
This Regional Operations Support position may last for up to one year and may lead to a permanent assignment as openings occur.
The successful candidate must be willing to travel extensively within the Southeast region to include but not limited to Florida, Georgia, North & South Carolina, and Alabama.
This includes overnight stays when needed and working 10 days on, 4 days off.
The position will be based out of Augusta, GA. at Augusta University Health. Augusta University Health offers the most comprehensive primary and specialty care in the region. Our medical professionals are leaders in their field and one hundred percent of our physicians are board-certified or board-eligible.
The Registered Dietitian will:
Be a Registered Dietitian with preferred experience in healthcare and able to obtain licensure as needed in the states listed above.
Have experience with electronic charting and the Nutritional Care Process.
Knowledge of DOH, state and federal clinical requirements and regulations.
Possess strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Possess good time management skills and be able to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff.
Be a self-starter, independent, flexible and team-oriented
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work and interact across all generations to make every day a better day for our clients and residents.
The candidate will need to have a GA license prior to starting this role.

Responsible for providing direct basic nutrition services
-Provides nutrition care to population served to ensure needs and customer satisfaction levels are met.
-Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction to ensure account retention.
-Manages, promotes, and educates others on food and nutrition programs according to Sodexo standards and policy.
-Collaborates and communicates with culinary and clinical departments on established processes, special diets, and menu requests and probes potential problems and apprises manager of status on resolution of problems or issues, using appropriate Sodexho resource when necessary.
-Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel) by keep abreast of the most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications, and standards of practice.
-Follows operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to other departments..
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian
