Marketing Manager - Consumer



The Marketing Manager - Consumer reports tothe Director of Sales and Marketing and is responsible for the development andstrategy of cross-functional efforts to drive market share, increase brandrecognition, improve sales productivity, create industry-leading productmarketing materials and ensure accessory profit contribution.


  • Leads coordination of research,collection and consolidation of all relevant market and business data to aidthe Business in determining future strategic direction

  • Manages advertising agencyrelationship.

  • Oversees and manages marketing budget.

  • Define gaps in product and marketpresence portfolio, strategize and recommend solutions

  • Manages and creates competitiveselling strategies based on market research, VOC and competitive productanalysis

  • Manages staff coordination with Salesto develop penetration plans, price promotions and channel program strategies

  • In charge of market drivers of demandand sensitivities by developing relationships and maintaining opencommunication with key industry contacts, distributors, dealers and customers.

  • Manages creation of dynamic salestools, product presentations and marketing collateral to drive productknowledge, channel acceptance and sales productivity

  • Works with staff to coordinate withEngineering and Sales to ensure accurate product information is properlydistributed, internally and externally, throughout the various channels.

  • Devises strategy and oversees coordinationwith project management, engineering, and other departments to carry out plan



  • Must have Consumer Product LaunchExperience.

  • Expertise in managing the developmentof sales tools, product marketing materials and competitive analysis in a B2Band B2C environment with technical products

  • Proven ability to demonstrate productpenetration and/or market share capture by creating and communicatingvalue-added marketing plan.

  • Excellent communication skills – ableto create and give engaging presentations on market research, product trainingand new product recommendations

  • Quickly establish and maintainpersonal credibility and work effectively in a team environment

  • Effectively, independently, andprofessionally represent the company to all external parties

  • Manage several projects and determinepriorities in a dynamic environment

  • Strong customer focus, analytic abilityand mechanical aptitude


  • BS in Marketing or Business.

  • Proficiency in MS Office. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
